    I stuck to my plan, had zero alcohol or sugar/desserts and gained 4 lbs in 3 days. All that eating, regardless of how clean it is, adds up. Plus everything slows down and there’s a lot of sitting around too. Although I’m sure the multiple servings of foie gras, oysters and various cheeses may have had something to do with it…

      I think everyone struggles to find balance over the holidays. While we don’t want to go completely crazy and eat anything and everything we want, it’s also not good to be ridiculously strict and deny yourself every single holiday treat. Somewhere in the middle is what I still strive for!
