I have managed to get my hands on the Pro Universe pictures and I would like to share a few of my favorites with you. For those of you that have not heard yet, the final results were posted and I took 10th place.
The more I look at these pictures the more I am amazed that I was even able to land the 10 spot. I hope these pictures help illustrate exactly how tough the competition was. If only you could see the floor of the stage. They kept us up there for over thirty minutes. Imagine having to pose and flex as hard as you can for over thirty minutes! The poor masters class had to do it twice, back to back! The stage was covered in sweat, and you will be able to tell in some of the pictures that competitors are literally out of breath.
There were too many guys to line up at once. We had to keep switching back and forth. You will see Earl Snyder fourth in line and Jason Kaiman sixth in line in the above lineup.
Jason and I trying to catch some air.
These are my two favorite pictures. I’m very happy with my execution of the pose, and as a great point of reference, in the background are the first and second place winners. David Lovelace is in the red and Marshall Johnson is in the green.
Another great shot to show the strength of the competition. Standing first in line is the winner, David Lovelace. Next to him is the ever so impressive Abraham Oluwole (6th), followed by Jason (5th), Earl Snyder (3rd) and me (10th).
Now for a pose down with Jason….
I’m eager to read any feedback that anybody may have. Feel free to contact me on Twitter or leave a comment on this thread.
